Introduction:Hi
Hi all, just thought i would introduce myself. My name is Neil, i'm 26 & from Bristol. I drive a 1997 Escort MK6 1.6 Serenade which is pepper red. It has been in the family from new when my granddad purchased it, then it was my mums & now it's mine. I have owned/been driving it since 10.9.04 when i passed my test & it has never let me down. I have modified it a bit but nothing compared to some i have seen so i would love it if i could get it upto those levels. So far have added 16" cosworth style alloy wheels, skirts, spats & a spoiler. I have also got a splitter which i made up myself but i have got a cosworth style one which i am hoping to fit soon. There's a few things which need doing & a couple of things i want to do including fitting genuine cosworth alloys, lowering it & finally colour coding with a possible respray. I have been on one or two other sites and think clubs like these are great because they have people like me who are enthusiastic about Ford, in particular the 80's/early 90's which i am a huge fan of. My own opinion is that for a long time now, cars are beginning to look the same as each other apart from the badge & i would rather have a old classic than a modern car anyday. I really enjoyed being a member of the other clubs so hopefully i will enjoy my time here in the same way. I always like to explore new things and I found this forum just two days before and I got a lot of information then I decide to join this forum.
