Hi people,

I've got a 2.0 blacktop crankcase which i want drilled out and a few bosses welded to it (2 for breathing 1 for return).

Anyone know where i can get this done in the Essex area. I'm based in Rainham (a few miles from Lakeside shopping centre)

Is there an alternative route to doing this.. heard about opening up the timing pin hole (which i don't want to do as i don't want any swarf in the currently spotless engine)or is there a way of fitting threaded fitting into the crankcase instead of welding.

I think my engineer could do this he is based in Southend . I can contact him today if needed ?

 

You mean the alloy part or the steel part? Either can be done by any decent welder, but to be honest Gosnay's are the best in your (rough) area, just get them to do it.
