Default sandwhich plate of ebay keeps leaking

Guys,

My oil sandwhich plate keeps on leaking. I used the supplied conical bolts to block two ends.

The conical bolts should be enough isn't it? No washers or anything?

As it's alu i think the bolts are quite tight already?

Anybody had the same? How to solve?

Would PTFE Tape sort that or would the oil destroy it?

Ptfe tape will sort it and it will last in till you remove the bolt

Mine kept leaking like that too & it took me a while to sort it properly as it kept running down the plate making me think it was the o ring seal on to the block so after taking that on & off a few times I spotted where it was actually coming from & some ptfe tape on the bolts sorted it out.
