I have toyo proxies on my mk1 frs and find them more than adequate for my driving style. Car is running standard power though. Most of the time I drive mine I don't hang around either.

I think there's better tyres

Personally I found them to have soft sidewalls which left the front end on a fwd car a bit less communicative than with other makes

Not the best In the wet either

Good price tho

Take it we're not talking 888s or R1Rs then, just standard road tyres?

I have t1r's and although grippy to begin with, the tread is still 6mm but the grip level has dropped MASSIVELY!

Also the sidewalks are shocking. My push bike has thicker sidewalls.

I always had t1rs on the fiesta and focus. They seem to be for me the best value. Longish lasting. And grippiest tyres out there. All my opinion but i always get on with them. I must say i always found they had a tendency to turn brown in colour on the sidewalls

Ran t1rs and proxy px4s on my ibiza. Found then both shit, noisey, soft side wals and only lasted 4k

Running avons now. They have more grip in the wet than the toyos did in the dry.

Have been using T1R's on my A4 for about 3 years. Nice and grippy, survived a few track days. Fronts seem to be doing circa 12k miles before needing to be replaced.

Getting tricky to find now, might try something new or go back to Continentals.
