Mate of mine has an 'old' VXR-8 and it's very impressive.

 

Epic car although I personally can't think of much use for it when its too big for trackdays and the speed limit is 70. But that's my argument for not owning an m5 etc too and other people seem to like them.

Must say that nearly 60k seems steep "for a vauxhall" though.

Old shape tranny was up to 2001,car wise I'd go for a Scorpio bug eye thing,probably up to about y/51 plate in estate form?

They did make a 2wd ranger up til about 52/53 plate if that counts????

Just the cost of building them is not viable here its the same with ford.
There will not be Australian made fords after 2016 either, we will be importing everything
