17" wheels on focus what tyres

I have got a mk1 focus and want to fit 17" wheels what tyres should I fit?

205/40z17 or 215/40z17 or 215/45z17

I know its not a Focus, heck it's not even a Ford BUT on my civic ive got 205/40, wouldn't want any lower profile than that as it will drive horrible if your used to standard wheels/tyres. In my opinion anyway

215/40/17 for handling, 215/45/17 for comfort. The st170 came with the 45 profile and the tdci sport/mp3 the 40.
