Default Ford focus st170 air box

Hi
Can I fit a FORD FOCUS ST170 AIR BOX to a ford focus sentence 1.8 2001?
Would it make a difference to performance and what parts wold I need?

im pretty sure the air box is the same as the 1.8, the st snorkel is a bit bigger and make a bit of difference, but dont hold me to that!!!

the hole in the bottom of the airbox is bigger thats it.

heat soak in n/a cars is a myth.
saxos run a cold air feed from the exhaust manifold thats how much heat affects n/a engines 0%

Who mentioned heat soak?

Loads of old cars do this, it's only really for when the engine is cold, there should be a vacuum operated valve to close this off.

i found a cold air feed from the bottom grill works better than the st snorkel, and its cheaper.

i said it because normaly pops up any way.

loads? ive owned loads of 2000 plate cars from fords to lexus and shitreon is the only ones i know who did it for that time and my lexus engine setup is from 1988 lol.

iirc that set was used on most shitroens till past 2005 and nope thay have two feeds going into one then going into the airbox and theres no valve there its just cold air feed feeding the eninge hot air from the exhaust manifold lol.

hot air will have effect on any engine. n/a or charged.
