Don't bother Martin,

Only bush I would use other than powerflex is super pro.

I ran the Super pro in my Golf for 3 years and had no issues,

In a word, no.

However my experience of them over a year or so is that while they were very stiff, they did the job intended.

Rack bushes were a pain to fit, but i went from old bushes, to all new flo flex. The ride on my current car with power flex on is much nicer, but obviously they aren't Ł100 for a full car set at show prices.

I've never had any issues with these...
Ive taken the front top mounts off and gone back to ford (escos) ones as it softens the ride up loads. But as a general rule ppl don't seem to rate them!

I have the full kit on my mk4 fiesta including the gearbox mount.

I have no issues with them, fitting was pretty simple, the lower arm bushes were a bit of a pain.

I compared the Powerflex and Flo flex anti roll bar bushes and they have the same harshness

I've got a set for my p100 cos. I've heard good and bad reviews. More bad than good, I'm going to run with them. I may well live to regret it. the design has changed a lot to them a few years ago as I've compared them. Will have to see.

Its an odd one for sure. I just bought complete kit from Ford Fair few years ago. Probably around the time they'd just started as FloFlex. Cost me Ł100 after a haggle, they got fitted to a 3i along with spax adjustable suspension and new arms. I'd heard nothing good or bad about them.

I remember the inner rear bushes were quite difficult to fit, but i fired the bench grinder up and tapered the edge of the bush, used a bit of copper grease then squeezed in a vice and they went in straight and snug.

Front roll bar bushes i had to cut, which i did from the top inwards so the bracket effectively squished it closed once it was fitted around the bar, original bushes have a cut towards the front.

Quite hard on the road but no complaints in the sense that they did what i wanted them to do!

I think these are what I ran for gearbox mounts (Isn't it Rog?) and they are excellent, much better than the Vibratechnics ones, kind of a two stage setup that prevents vibration at idle whilst not allowing much movement under hard acceleration and braking.

Pretty much, wanktastic springs to mind!

I think its the biggest mistake i've made for buying something for my RS. They are so awful i only fit about half of the bushes in the kit. I fit rubber bushes instead of Flo flex that came new with a part i bought, i removed and binned Flo-flex bushes to replace with Powerflex bushes.

After service from Flo-flex is complete tosh. They even accused me of lying at one point and denied anything wrong on their half.

I even phoned them again and the person said see how 'these' ones fit, if no good ring back and we'll partially refund you on some of the bushes. The lady dealing with my case wasn't in and another lady said she'll pass my message on and get the other lady to ring me back.

That was about a year ago..... still waiting on my phone call to refund me Ł50+ that they said they'll do.
To be honest i actually forgot about that until now. Not much i can do nowadays but warn people not to buy their shite bushes.

So to summarize, DO NOT BUY from Flo-flex or any of their dealers. The bushes are not worthy of fitting to cars.

Futhermore use the search option and you'll find pics and threads made up over the last year about how bad they are.

Yes, crap crap crap. I could wobble my rear wheels they were so...... crap. Removed the outer rear bushes and fit powerflex and problem solved.

Im more annoyed with myself thinking i'd save a wedge of cash getting flo-flex but i was wrong.

I could squeeze the flo-flex bushes but not the powerflex ones.

Martin I had a full set on the rs2k,
The front wishbone bushes ripped out and the others went out of shape.

I did consider using the on my Golf but decided not to, I went with super pro and they were 1000 times better.

I actually have that very problem on my current car when it's jacked up. It's fitted with powerflex though!! Going to replace with either new powerflex or superflex.
