still alot of cleaning to be done, but im sure you will agree it looks much better all ready.
fitted some performance iginition leads, new spark plugs powder coated rocker cover and new S/S bolts and washers.

For me personally I think it looked nicer in silver! But it's your car and if your happy that's all that matters! I'm just one for the clean factory finish on a standard car.

 

i know what you mean. but the the powder coaters near me will not do silver.... i just like the white and red theme on the xr3i so thought i would carry it on in the engine bay. thanks for the feedback tho m8.
also its got a stage 3 head, ported and polished with fast road cam. sweet!

 

For me it needs to look o/e. but strato silver rattle can and paint it, then new sticker and hey presto. Lot better IMO

 

do you know where i can get a new sticker from? looked on ebay but no joy

 

Try DMB, I think they do OE stickers.

 

It would of been better to clean up the engine bay before fitting it.
