That's the ones I was looking at on Ebay, can't find anything bigger than a 16x7j though, really nice wheel, really suit the car.

My plan is to strip my engine this weekend and get the block honed and crank checked
Then I'll buy all the bearings ect once I know everything is ok.

None, its a Megasquirt 2 based ecu thats been modified to fit in the standard case and use the standard plug.
Basically a MS2 plug and play ECU for ford EEC IV, ideal for me none of the wiring to do

I plan on getting most of my bits from a EFI xr3i i have, loom, head, inlet, flywheel ect ect the ECU will PnP into the 3i loom most of the build time will be checking and cleaning bits before putting it all back in.

Engine wise ive come to a bit of a stop, unless i can get a 2nd hand decent forged engine im just going to rebuild my 1600 as i wasnt looking for anything special power wise around 250 would have done but dont fancy spending 1k+ on just a bottom end at the moment as i am not sure if thats what i want from the car i would rarther have a nice clean car i can use and less power.

i cleaned my pistons and rods up so they could be checked for cracks and there fine amazing how clean they come up with the right equipment.

Yeh imo there a good quality there seem to be alot of these rods about all be it will a different name on them and havent heard a bad thing yet.

What power did simsytall make?

My next thing on my to do list is sort the battery tray out in the car as it needs a new one. Engine wise im just waiting on a bottom end really but carnt make my mind up at the moment but pretty sure im going to stick with CVH and got my head back from the machine shop today it was getting skimmed.

So far i have got as far as:
Ofam ecu
Ported and polished EFI head with bigger valves, bronze guides and double valve springs.
Cossie T3 rebuilt with 360 bearing

next few weeks
bottom end will be a fully rebuilt CVH with forged pistons and rods HD bearings and high preasure oil pump.
need to sort a cam and some injectors and then tidy and check my loom.

no idea what power i will end up with but i would be happy with a few less horse power and alittle more reliability

Thanks for the comments,
I should be in a position to take my engine to AMS for building in the next two weeks.
Ill feel better about it when it's just back on the ground rolling around and not on axel stands gathering dust.
