What happened to Bren...as in Bren@apex? Dont ask why but for some reason his name just popped into my head

He's still selling 200SX stuff AFAIK

 

he still has a web site, but he doesnt appear to have much to do with fords now..

 

Hes a well known 200SX tuner- Apex Performance.

Has a pretty mad black S14A 200SX, competed at TOTB3, a regular on the SXOC forum, etc etc etc

 

....and a pretty mad 200SX S13 which is currently at our workshop having some more refinements and a few more GG's extracted (as if 400+bhp on a 1.8 engine isnt enough for him!!)

 

Cool....Fook knows why i thought of him. I remember him doing good deals on the old RSBB

 

yeah he used to be very well priced!!

 

I'd wager he sprung into your head during recent 'events' because wasn't he one of Pete's "favourite" Bedroom Traders in his day?? LOL
I used to talk to Bren a lot, he's a sound guy.

We are now specialists in performance parts for Nissan 200SXs. We've got a black S14 (later style) waiting for an engine to go with a Greddy T78 turbo kit we have waiting to fit. We are going for a real 700bhp, its the same turbo as Rocket Ronnie runs on his Skyline I believe!

We also have one of the earlier pop up headlight S13s which is down with Christian and Gary at APT having a cage, AP 6 pots, fire extinguisher system, larger injectors, new clutch etc fitted. Its a bit of a beastie is the S13, very much a track car with carbon fibre boot and tailgate, alloy propshaft, solid engine mounts, huge intercooler, alloy rad, OMEX management, coilovers, rose jointed adjustable suspension arms etc. Its running just over 400bhp now but should be upto 450 with a remap and the bigger injectors

We have a Jag XJR as a daily driver. 380bhp 4ltr supercharged floating sofa

Theres five of us working at Apex now, we are doing pretty well,importing and exporting all over the world, getting a load of our own parts made up etc. Its all good and exciting.
