you will run into trouble with the rear mount starter motor, servo clearance, flywheel, clutch, driveshafts, electronic speedo, will need mountings fabricating.

I've always wondered why people don't use the other 6 speeds? There's the new focus/fiesta B6 on 1.6 turbo and there's the other 6 speed mainly used in the diesel mondeys etc. 1.6 or 1.8 tdci will share the 'crossflow' bolt pattern

If everything goes well soon this project will be ready. Brand new CVH Turbo engine and ST 6 speed box. Driveshafts, Intake plenum and new engine loom for the new ECU left to do. Then we see what happens

Non turbo 6 speed box's tend to have very close gears, not really ideal for FI applications as they make it easier to lose traction.

Default Starter.

For the starter i used a Focus 1.8D housing and took the starter part that is in front and welded with the ST box in front with a template to be exact. For Malta that is a very small island, is good to have a close ratio gearbox. I fitted the mountings and made a remote powerbrake, that is good because the factory one for me, is very ugly there. I will try to post some pics.
