Default Vehicle security

Bar alarms what do you use to secure your cars?

Are Disclocks (steering wheel thingys) any good?

Suggestions are appreciated!

Full disklocks are good. Think snap-off steering wheel bosses are worth a look as well. CCTV & security lighting, and a baby monitor (!) aren't bad ideas if you're in a high crime area, too.

Shock sensors and proximity sensors on alarms are a good investment as well.

Good mechanical things....i.e, Disclocks,anti-ram posts,gear box locks.

things like that imo are good.

What about when you leave your car somewhere like RS national day car park , i suppose a big wheel clamp ? or park next to a lamp post or something similar & get a dirty great chain & padlock, chain it to the post , bit extreme but it might stop it getting nicked at national day

pro Thieves use Liquid Nitrogen
pisses all over your CHAIN
and my massive CONTAINER LOCK where theres a will "TO STEAL IT "
theres a way im afraid
i prefer a black wired quality immobiliser
had a quality Perimeter Scan ALARM on my car
they still got the head unit
the cd changer was bolted under the passenger seat
i like to put them there
so the robber cut all the wires all 14 of them so now thats fooked too
BUT END OF THEY DAY
dont leave your car in dark or unused places

i take my fuel pump relay in with me everynight, and tuck the connection block back up under dash,

if you ask most car thieves the best form of immobilsers are a hidden switch for fuel pump or starter motors, immobilesers are too easy to get round
