Default Kenda KR20 tyres...

Will need some new tyres on my Audi A3 soon as getting some new alloys, if I go 18" I've been looking at the Kenda KR20 tyres, reviews on the net seem to say they're pretty good for budgets,
just wondered if anyone has any experience with these? Good or bad?
I'm hoping they're not too noisy which is one of my main concerns....

Cheers Paul

Generally I find with tyres you get what you pay for.

I do agree too but I really cant afford to fork out for real expensive tyres on this car.

Sounds good Phil, are they noisy at all?

Not nosiey at all mate, when I bought the car the garage put 2 new tyres on the back which happened to be kenda kr20 I had never heared of them. So went to see my mate at local tyre place and he said they were a good budget tyre so bought 2 for the front so they all matched. Only paid Ł42.50 each im well happy with them cheers phil.

Sounds good Phil.

How comes you found them awful Paul? Just lack of grip? Performance wise?

Cheers Paul

it really depends on how you drive and what you use car for, if your commuting and not going to be using car for quick driving the i'm sure they'd be fine, but if your going to be pushing on etc i find most budget tyres are very hard so will last well but are poor for grip especially when damp.

i'd probably rather have part worn pirelli's than new budget if that was all i could afford
