Default 4x4 cossie/2wd brake questions

Ok all, been swapping the engine out on my saph cos and into the mint shell I bought off slider from here and it's generally gone well, few hiccups but generally ok.

My problems now centre around the front brakes and hubs.

Now the car came with a 2wd front beam in mint condition but obv not much use to me and also brand spanking new front 4 pot brake calipers which I'm to assume are also 2wd items.

The prop is also 2wd but it seems like I just unbolt the 4x4 prop and I'm back in business.

The brakes are where my problems lie.
Obviously I'd love to use the new calipers but there seem to be issues, the 4wd hub carriers use smaller bolts than the 2wd ones,I'm assuming just drill for clearance on the m10/12 but also the brake hose seems to hit the driveshaft, the 4x4 seems to use an angled fitting?

Obviously the 2wd hubs are different,I found this when trying to fit a 4x4 strut into a 2wd knuckle!!!

The car has stood for so long the hubs have actually rusted into the discs. I think I'm best to swap them out for good second hand units but is there anything I can do to separate the old hubs out of the discs?
I've tried brute force, releasing oil, heat etc but I think their dead in the water.

Any suggestions welcome.

to get discs off hit it with a hammer .
which discs are they 4x4 or 2wd as the offset is completely diffrent and tbh this offset with the disc could change the way the calliper is going to fit

Ahh yes that's what I think it is,the offset as they do seem to sit in a totally different place.
Hammer you say?
I've tried hammering it,heating it,soaking it in wd40 type stuff all to no avail.
In fact I got so paranoid in the end that I had a one off ford where the disc was held on via the hub nut I even removed that and then tried bashing it off that way,all to no avail!!!

Off to find a second hand set of hubs/knuckles now as the bearings are shot also.

It honestly looks like someone's welded the discs to the hubs with rust!!!

Different sizes as well, you can't fit the 2WD 4 pots to 4x4 hubs, the offset is different, the reason you can't interchange hubs, as you found out is because the struts are different thicknesses.

Yes the discs get rusted on so usually require some persuasion in the form of a hammer, are you sure there are no screws behind the discs holding them?

Afternoon!
What size of hammer are you using? Stuff like that needs a big hammer and not some B&Q DIY toffee size thing!
All posts above correct, i wouldn't bother with the grief of trying to fit 2WD brakes to a 4x4 hub, it's not worth the hassle and if it was 'easy' it would a be common uprgade.
There shouldn't be any kind of retaining screw on the disc to hub, only thing I can suggest is there may be a spigot ring adapter or something thats also welded on with rust that's stopping the disc coming off, but even then it would come off eventually with a few hits.

If you are careful you can use a press.... I helped out with a friends using mine... I put a large tub of water underneath it to catch it when it popped off. I got a bit wet but was very glad I did

Thanks for the tips lads but they really aren't coming off, their literally welded on with rust plus time I change all the bearings/studs etc it's acually cheaper to buy good second hand units.
Anyone want a MINT set of calipers and grooved front discs for a 2wd!!!!

ok if hitting with a hammer is not working use a grinder and cut through the disc a bit a then hit it and it will break as disc are really not hard the break even just hitting them it can be done
