Default At Last My Saph Cossie 2wd rebuild 2013

There always a story to tell when you end up owning a ford, so i brought this in May last year for my 30th and used it on and off till July when the turbo needed replacing and since then its sat in my mates workshop after i wanted to rebuild the chassis and engine. But i decided to open a burger van and converting this took a while and getting it up and running then my mother in law become very ill last year and passed away so all work sort of stopped! we only opened the catering van up in January this year so now everything is back to normal im now a house husband whist the mrs and the sister in law run that here's some pics.

I have gone mad buying bits and pieces over the last 6 months to spread the cost of the rebuild, and now its time to strip the engine out and everything from the chassis ready for prep and painting.

i will upload as i go along of the next few weeks and any advice along the way would be great Cheers Glenn.

made some progress yesterday rear beam in primmer and sanded down ready for painting but not to sure on colour as I will use it on other parts like tank strap, front compression struts and lower arms.

Also need to get my wasted spark kit installed in my lv8 ecu which I don't think Im going to tackle.

And this is my turbo for running the engine in.

Head and crank strpped and ready for checking at Southern Rebore tomorrow to see if it needs polishing or a skim. But engine was 100% when i removed so all should be good

Well finally started cracking back on with my car. Sent head and crank off to be checked, head was fine but had full strip down and rebuild didn't need a skim, and my crank only needed a polish and amazed it was still on its standard shells.

All the interior has been put back in with freshly painted interior floor, just need to sort the headlining out.

Chassis been steamed cleaned and chemically treated and this week the floor will be painted and put back rolling again ready for engine to be fitted.
