I'm ideally after a 320d sport tourer but can't find a decent enough one, so what are 318SE 320d like to live with, as I don't fancy a ratty sport version when a 320d SE is so much cheaper. What have you got or driven?

 

Turbos are VERY common to let go on the 2.0L diesels.....other than that i think they are ok

 

Clutch judder when hot if overheated before ie towing. Have the bushes on the front checked as often go. If it fails to start then fuel relay.

I had one for quite a while, it went well, handled well and did brilliant mpg

 

Right, thanks for that, I've heard swirl flaps on some d's need swapping out and I've seen a couple now on 250,000miles and still ride very well. Bottom arms and turbos, righto
