Earlier,was driving in conutryside,& noticed the famous whooshing sound when accelerating.Got back home & have found that on my 2007 mk3 mondeo tdci 130,the short piece of hose(approx 8" long x 57mm inside diameter),leading from intercooler(bottom left looking forwards from under car)was split. Its the one that has the metal reinforced rings on it. Does anyone know what ford number this is ,& exact name? I've bought a length of 51mm reinforced straight rubber pipe,& am going to see if I can heat the ends up with a heat-gun to slip each side on.But am just curious in case it doesnt work,I'll need to nip to Ford arggh)

 

strike that post. just found a guy few miles away thats got a 130 tdci so going to see if his is same as mines then voila(hopefully)
