Please, do explain how the Duratec lumps are 'shit'?
Don't bother converting them, totally pointless on a mk5 and will make the back end very light under braking, spend the money upgrading the fronts instead.
As for your original question, depends on your budget. For a cheap track day car, and decent road car, just put the puma lump in. The engine/box will all bolt into the Fiesta, it's a very easy conversion to do.
The Duratec (ST150) lumps are good engines, and as they're all alloy, they're light to. But, they are still very expensive, and fitting on into a mk5 requires a hell of a lot of time, money and custom made parts!
The ST170(zetec) lump is heavier than the ST150, and I'd personally only use it if I was going to turbo it, as N/A gains will cost a fortune! It's also a lot more effort to get fitted and running in a Fiesta.
If I was you I'd just put the Puma engine in, mated to a Puma gearbox. Can do the conversion for a few hundred quid in a weekend if you're good with cars! Pop onto www.zsoc.com loads of people have done it, and there's guides etc. showing how easy it is. There's also people on there that can do the conversion for a very good price!
