Makes me wished i'd gone for Gartrac arches on my Cossie S2, They look hard as nails

What gearbox you going for mate, looks plenty of room for Focus RS box in there with the inner arch modded..

Not usually a fan of that kit but that looks hard as nails. You won't be having the open mouthed bumper on it though will you?

This will be great, front-wheel-drive YB engine will suit it I reckon!

MTX 'box I hope?

Ah nice. Look forward to seeing that.
Phil did my carbon roof on my 3dr Sierra. Never did see the windscreen pillar panels tho..
I don't know how strong the carbon versions will be compared to grp, but be v careful after fitting it as the oem struts are way too powerful for the weight of the boot lid (esp if you're using poly-carb screen) and its really easy to rip your hinges right out of your new bootlid.
Make sure you post plenty of pics when it arrives.
Cheers

Get it remade with woven fabric (glass/carbon/kevlar, either really) and use epoxy as oppsed to poly and chopped strand. As long as its got a bit if extra fabric rotated in the key areas which are prone to crack this should solve the problem mate. Maybe a few extra mounting points would be a held to with rubber connections/bushes

Car looking awsome by the way , evil as

Stuuuuuuu ya mad head!

bit of history for ya all, as i put in the general section, there were actually 2 of these shells used in the saloon car champs, peters race cars, both ran 1.6 cvh n/a engines 1 carbed 4 speed, and 1 T/B 5 speed, with a wierd engine mount laying the engine forward, both welded in roll cages and painted in a yellow and blue paint scheme. when i enquired about the car the owner never knew the history, i ended up telling him lol. when i was gunna buy it i was planning to take it back to original paint scheme etc.....

im glad you bought it and cant wait to see the transformation

if i remember right before i had it, the engine was a cvh or 16i on carbos, but was also tilted at a very strange angle for weight distribution, with a funky sump on it
