hi all, how hard is it to make my 3dr shell rolling by taking the bits of my 2wd saph donor car?im no mechanic but can hit things hard if need be

Also should this be the first stage, the shell has all panels but needs new front inner wings which comes with it.

 

first find a decent welder/body shop to weld in new inner wings before you go moving anything thing from doner car as engine bay will need to be completely empty of all wiring pipes etc

 

got that all lined up. The wiring must be a right arse though with the loom etc. Have u done the conversion before as i need to know the steps to make it rolling. I can get my mechanic to do it but im skint so wanna save some pennys

 

Swapping over stuff to get the shell rolling is easy but do remember things like front hubs, rear anti rollbar and gearbox cross member are different on a 3 door although sapphire parts will fit. If you look at how it all fits on the one car take some pics if needed then unbolt it all and swap to the other shell. Is the 3 door shell a cosworth one as there are some differences if it is not. But nothing that can't be worked around
