Prestenting my daily driver car. Will upload more pics as soon as i got some.

Small list of whats been done:
New JVC headunit
Phoenix Gold amp and 10" sub
White indicators front,side and the back.
Open airfilter
Mk6 speakers front and back
Mk6 innerlight

List of whats to be done:
Change front wings.
XR3i/RS2K front bumper and head lights (Sorted)
15" Mondeo RS wheels, thinking of painting them gunmetal grey. (Have it but mounted on my rallycross car at the moment)
New bootlid
Side skirts from XR3i/RS2k Mk5 (sorted)
Tinted windows
Paint the chrome black
Front seats from BMW M3 E30 (Have but not mounted)
Lots of other stuff as i goes along and i have the time

 

Interesting project. I have a lot of love for estates so will keep an eye on this

 

not much of an update but changed the alternator. It suddenly stopped charging. 25 quid at the breaker so not much of a loss

To this: (I know its not the best but it is a trail fit and i will try to find another in better condition, it was for free so.


New door speakers from a Mk6: (Easy job just the seal that needed to be moved from the old one and mounted on the new. And they sounded great. 8 quid for both)

And now on the original 14" RS wheels, will fit Mondeo 15" 5 spoke.
They are mounted on my Mondeo rallycross project car at the moment.

The hunt for parts is going strong

Made a request from a local scrapyard to buy just the lower section on this bumper


Found a complete RS bumper same colour as mine. Just the black needs to change to chrome. 45 quid

Well we will see about the ttrim. Iam thinking of painting the trim in satin black

 

Fitted Mk6 innerlight. Just need to sort the relay so there will be 20 sec delay.
Found some more parts but not fitted:
Genuine XR3i/RS2k sideskirts (from a mk5 the ones i really wanted don't like the Mk6 GTi/RS2k skirts)
Headlights just need to sort the parkinglight on the sides then i can fit the RS front
New speakers in the trunk
Mk6 badges for the bootlid (old enough to not have a debagded bootlid )
RS badges on the front wings

 

Time to get some job done on this aswell besides the Mondeo

RS2K bumper arrived today


Side skirts and head lights will arrive next week
