Help!!
i am putting my 3 door back together and have a problem with power steering.
for the 1st 5 mins everything was ok and the the steering went siff and the pump stopped making the wuring noise on full lock.
steering pump i thought, changed the pump and bingo it worked and made the wuring noise on full lock, but after about 5 mins it stopped working again
i have now swapped the rack and still the same.

any Ideas??

 

Are all the pulleys in line?, had an escos with the same problem last year, changed the lot on that and it turned out that the bottom pulley was sitting about 2mm proud of being all the way on, drove us mad for a full day....
