As above boot on my 06 focus saloon decided to look itself shut and refuses to open on switch or key no matter how many times i lock or unlock the car ??
Anyone else had this
on a side note everytime it rains it seems to leak water in some where around rear lights 2

 

If the button on the key doesn't work it is probably the solenoid that has failed. I now on the hatch backs you need to get into the boot through the rear seats, pull off the trim panel inside the boot lid, then manually pull the rod that unclicks the latch. not too sure how different a saloon will be!

 

cheers for that be easy enough get in if hadnt filled it with tools for a job
