Just fitted wasted spark conversion and will not start. msd did the ecu so all i had to do is fit it in and connect 21 and 26 pins to plug. Car cranks for about 5 secounds then massive bang there are no numbers on the coil pack for the leads does this matter

 

I'd probably say you have the leads on the wrong way round mate.

Thanks for your help there Sonic, I am going to have to ask the girls to unpack every one of these damn things as more and more seem to be turning up without the connection label on.

 

No worries done it myself you do get a masive backfire with them on the wrong way round.

mine never came labled either but shows on the paperwork that comes with kit
