Standard 711M 1600cc crossflow, standard 4 speed, Quaife ATB LSD, vented discs all round, billsteins all round... runs sweet but needs twin 40s on there!

 

Nice, would love a nice mk1, but they are mega bucks!

Glenn, yes I bought it from Mike back in 2013, it's going for another engine make over soon.

 

So how did you find out about the car when Mike had it? Did you have to do some filming with the big dafty Mike? Ie the daft hand shake he always does.

 

I found the the car on Turbosport forum posted by a guy who had met the Wheeler Dealer team, they asked him to put it on a couple of forums. He put it on Turbosport and Rallyesportescorts. I went to view with the producer, then arranged to meet Mike and Ed at Bracknell to do the filming.

Mike did the handshake, he's alright, he loves his cars and took time out to look at my E46 M3.

Hiya! I sold her 3 years ago to get a genuine RS2000, below, but I missed 'Custy' so I contacted the guy I sold it to and bought her back! He didn't change her and hardly used her so it's like she was just in storage. Needs an engine rebuild though... He blew a piston!

This replaced her for 2 1/2 years...

 

Shame about Ed but Ant is good... Mike is a proper geezer! The whole crew were car nuts.

 

Cool matey. That RS2000 looks sweet.

 

I spent a fortune on the car bringing her to how I wanted it then I saw a genuine mk1 RS2000 that I wanted, so I sold the yellow screamer... anyway, she's now back with me... well was for 2 weeks, now having a little work done before coming home for good.
