that red thing on the bootlid is deffo a spoiler cos it's not doing much improving

Got a real soft spot for these, local fella threw Ł35k at the engine of his and ended up with 630bhp - what kinda power is this packing?

 

saloons never came with anything turbocharged matey, what engine has he got in it? a 5 pot?

they were a few S2 saloons but not in the UK

this is a very very rare 2.0 16v Quattro saloon (what the BTCC/STW cars were)
this is 145bhp and sounds the nuts, although i will be fitting a 2.2 20vT 5 pot, like i have done to my A4, then power output can be whatever you want upto say 1300

my mistake, its an s2 not the saloon - here's an old video of it - fella driving has a fake arm too it sounds pretty sweet

 

famous car that, very well known

 

chap who had it built is known locally as Esso as he's partner in a 2nd hand garage (well he was a partner, the other fella was killed in a plane crash with his son 18 months or so ago, very sad). Fairly unsurprisingly most of their stock of cars are audis!!

Esso had one of the last peter g exhaust manifolds made amongst a host of goodies, proper weapon although he melted it it at least once - had a melted piston as an ashtray had a good poke round it when the "MOT"'d my 3 door cossie

 

im using the same engine in my A4, but with a GT40R and 1000`s, final spec will rev to 10,000+revs, power about 7-800bhp, closer or above 800 hopefully but im not chasing figures, just noise
