Dear Members,

I am currently in the process of organising a Car Show and Fun Day due to take place on Sunday 19th May 2013 at the Stanborough Park, Stanborough Road, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, AL8 6DQ. The show is being held in aid of the Make-A-Wish Foundation Charity http://www.make-a-wish.org.uk/ and we are seeking participants to show there vehicles. The show will be free entry to show vehicles and there passengers. The general public will have to pay an entry fee. It will be a fun and lively day for all the family as there will be live music, children's rides, catering facilities, live local radio station broadcasts, stalls selling different products and an award ceremony for the Best in Show vehicle.

I live in Welwyn Garden City and I haven't seen a car show at the lakes before so decided to see if people would be interested, I must say that the response has been good and have a great selection of different types of cars attending.

 

there was some back in the late 90s when we used to get a summer as I was part of capri club international back then based in st albans, I run a PF local branch at watford now, if you use photobucket to host your pictures and simply copy and paste the [img] tag and the picture will show up on our BB, best size for forums is 800x600

Cheers it would be great to see your club at our show, the following link is the show ground area so you can see the size of the event. We are allowing 10 - 15 cars per club. If you are interested in attending please email me your cars details. If your club wants to display your club flag, gazebo etc is ok with us.

Hi all,
Just a quick post as this months newsletter has been updated. We posted the March's Newsletter that Bernie Fineman will be at our show. After my conversation with Bernie last week he received confirmation that he's now filming on the 19th May and sorry that he can't make our show now Bernie will still be donating his Chop Shop T Shirts and the DVD Box Set for our raffle and I will see if Bernie can make our other car show later in the year.

Hi all, you can arrive between 8am - 9:30am to exhibit your cars so you can park up grab something to eat before the main gates open at 10am but understand if you can't get to us by then but would help if you can. see you all then.

 

Absolutely spot on day.... Very impressed for your 1st event...

Same here. Already planning on getting the wife insured so we can bring the 73 beetle and the s2 rst next year.
