G Reg Escort RS Turbo £1750, no offers
Right... i bought this car on ebay 6 months ago. Bought it as spares or repairs. It has been sat in a garage for 13 years before i got hold of it, therefore has no tax or MOT.
The interior is absolutley mint. The shell is absolouley mint, apart from:
Bonnet has had a paintless dent romoval, that hasnt been done very well
ONLY rust, is under the bonnet, where the wings meet the front panel. The rest of it is rust free, floor, battery tray, chassis ect.
its been sat for so long, so when i got it back, i changed battery, plugs, leads, rotor arm, dizzee cap, ect, fuel and oil filters, oil ect.
£20 of fresh petrol, it started and ran well. went on a 5 mile sensible drive. was fine. took it to work to MOT it, the head gasket went!
didnt overheat at all, just filled the road with white smoke.
I replaced the headgasket and bolts, now i cant get it back to how it was.
It starts when cold, but when it warms up, it is hard to re-start and wont idle.
I have spent ages going over everything. it has to be something simple but i cant find it!!
Im selling it as it is now anyway, need the funds to finish my zetec turbo one.
Il get some photos up on monday. Bad bits are it has no paperwork.
I have a new keepers suppliment so i need to send off for the logbook.
dash says 28,000 miles. got no proof of that, but the condition of the car makes it believable.
any questions, please ask.

Good luck fella cheap bargain there! bud try moving dizzy slightly mine ran like shit my mates wasnt working and he suspected dizzy so borrowed mine to check when I put my dizzy back on mine it ran perfect

Cheers Wes, yeah tried that mate, someone saids about that before. and i will try my best to get photos up tomorow. The car is locked inside a unit, if somene is there tomorow il get photos.

bugger i sold mine too cheap boohoo just got rid 1 last saturday complete car turbo timer the lot wanted brakes bled and tax and tested sold for £900 and even chucked that at 200 a month

Only other thing i forgot to mention- slight paint defect on wheel arch trim.

I have tried to be as honest as possible, any other questions, please ask! Its a real tidy car and a shame to let it go, but i cant have 2
