Default cabrio to pick-up?

Hi all, having done nothing or not used this car for over 8 yrs now, I was looking at it the other day and I started wondering, how easy is it to chop this cab into a bantam style pick-up? Is it a massive / expensive job? I'm a mechanic but been out of the game over 15 yrs, but still have the tools/welder etc....... many thanks, Mike.

Bamtam has a different rear end and also longer.. if you where to pick up an escort I'd start off with a hatch.. otuer than that leave the cab as it is

Bantam is based on a van. Leaf sprung back end and has the quarter glass behind the door. Los uses the shorter doors from a 4 door

is the chassie not stronger on the soft tops as they dont have a roof for strenth so as a base for a pick up it would be good imo
