Default Converting 4x4 saph to 2wd? Info please!!

Been looking on here for information on what is needed to convert a 4x4 saph cossy to a 2wd.

Im thinking of the top of my head -

Gearbox / bell housing + clutch assembly (possibly fly wheel??)
2wd prop shaft
Front struts / hub assembly
Not sure if 4x4 brakes will fit 2wd hubs etc? (front)
Engine Sub frame?
Unsure if the rear diff is the same?

Can anyone please add or shine some light on this subject its been 10 year since i last tinkered with my old saff and i'm looking at my options available to me now as i'm on the look out for another!!

As above rear diff is different 4x4 uses 7" rwd is 7.5" but you can still use it i have a 2wd prop for a t5gearbox, front brakes will fit but you will have to drill lugs out abit on hubs but rwd front brakes are better.you also need a rwd sump

you havent looked hard then theres loads of threads on it
converted my 2wd back from 4x4 last year

heres a list if you doing it right m8 or you can do it on the cheap

t5 gear box, bell housing, thrust bearing and shit plate
2wd fly wheel (4x4 is heavier)
gear box cradle mount
sump and complete oil pump
cross member
starter motor
steering rack
speedo cable
front hubs
front suspension
anti roll bar (very slight difference )
front brakes or make a 13mm spacer (off set wrong)
engine mounts and engine mounts that fasten to block
prop shaft
diff
drive shafts
rear subframe
you can use your 4x4 trailing arms
think thats about it

easiest way to do it
remove front driveshafts take the outer cv joints off the front driveshafts and bolt them into the front hubs to keep the wheel bearing tight
fit 2wd gearbox, gearbox mount, propshaft and speedo cable
job done

you can fit a 7.5 inch diff to a 4x4 rear beam just need to cut a little of the mounting points of the diff to fit it i just personally think its a backwards step fitting 2wd front stuff like hubs and cradle etc... as it makes them a bit twitchy up front and the 4x4 crossmember is stronger
