whey all sorted for this years scottish car show , really need to get on and make my under car mirrors

 

Bit off topic but was your p100 at Knockhill the back end of last year? ay of been a french car/hot hatch day

 

hi mate yea was at a french car show (felt a little out if place lol) and then at the end of the year ultimate street car i think

 

Definitely stood out from all the saxo's and 106's lol, looks a cracker

 

lol thanks yep about twice as long lol , i thought no one would even give it a second look as its not french lol
will you be getting along to the scottish car show ?

 

It was loads better than the french scrap lol. I was out on track as passenger in the white 3dr Sierra track car that day, shite weather though

Aye im hoping to get down as long as I'm onshore and have bought a Saph by then haha

 

lol and ah i seen that was going well what engine was it v6? and ah the search for a cosworth lol good luck

 

Yeah handles really well, set up nice for track. Stage 2 or 3 YB, no v6 there lol. Aye its a frustrating search but i will get there

 

ah i was wondering as if it was a v6 it was going very well lol so bhp around 280 - 330 , and yea it is getting harded to find a good one , i suppose its just a case of getting one and working from there to get it the way you want , so are you going standard or big bhp?

 

Few of us from my local club just got paid up for a stand inside this year (wosrsoc) really looking forward to it now, will be sure to come n say hello

Yep, I dont mind getting a Saph that needs a wee bit of tlc, as long as the shell is solid and it runs. Ideally looking for rwd 360bhp ish......til I get bored

yea fair bit of punch and thats the important thing as there 20+ years old now and get bored ? lol my brother has a 2wd around 330 ish and every time he drives it he has a big smile on his face lol but the bloody thing is never stright lol

i think last year they had an in door stand and a out door one as far i can make out , i joined them the at the tail last year so still really new to it

the top 50 cars i have heard they get in for free lol, guy i was talking to said i should try to get in but in my eyes mines is not good enough yet lol

in saying that the cars been in the body shop the past 3 days so I might inquire about it, al stick a wee thread up here and get some opinions when it's finished

av got a cracking painter/bodywork guy in EK, has his own place and his work is impeccable if ye need someone, he's very well priced aswell just gives a shout

total cost Ł1200 , that is the guy doing everything so i thought that was not bad

 

no worries bud, good painters are hard to come by lol
now get the finger out n get it sorted lolol

 

thats true , i have seen this guys work and it is really good so fingers crossed lol
and really need to lol problem is not enough room to work but that will be changing soon
other thing is i want to change to body and cut bits out and things so i will just be happy to get it done this year lol , then engine next year can't wait lol
