one my mates cars another free job as I love cars . looked mint when we picked it up ,been sat in a garage for seven years



lites are burnt don't worry

needed a lot of work
inner outa arches
sills
front panel repairs
back panel repairs
were seats mounted
and one wing and section in boot lid an bonnet

one side welded

boot lid was rooten around wiper so as he on a budget I repaired it

then it was the under arches turn for a lick of paint after a going over with sprayable factory sealer ,also made some zetec s shocks fit with aid of rose joints

kit got primer on aswell




we building a proper wooden booth tomorrow that's were we at now as weather been bad its to bad to paint

wheels were blasted an primed also





il update as we go ,im hoping to get it ready for lakes tour as my mate wants to show it on the sunday

small up date on this ,when we rubbed down the kit ect started to paint it all an every part reacted ,found out someone had used a oil based product in unit witch was airborn ,anyway rubbed it all down again and sealed them all ,booth is being built to mro evening so should see it painted in next month









primer when is dried for 12hours then rub down for paint

all parts back in primer now and we knocked the booth up to nite ,fan and few things to finish but should do the job all free timber aswell












roof an front will be polly sheet

wheels done also ,i think after a season of shows they will get powdercoated

he needs a centre cap if anyone got one

shell is now sat in paint had a problem with to much drag on the fan witch dragged crap in throw the seams at the bottom so roof is to polish ,think im doing doors an bootlid Friday nite so will upload some pics of shell ,

we over did it with the booth as when we sealed the front off the paper on the floor lifted quite high when the fan was on dragging shit in ,was more for the heat than dust

only roof and wing tops to polish tho ,

gun finish













un sure weather to paint the grey back on the wheels ????????????






moved stuff round so I can paint doors an boot lid Friday evening
