Default Cossie Managed Fiesta RS Turbo Project

As some may have seen i was doing a cossie managed CVH turbo Mk2 Fiesta but that has been demoted to a daily as my mate offered me this Fiesta RS Turbo for £150 and i just couldnt say no lol

Mk2 thread HERE

I went up to my mates unit to put my Mk2 steels on it and get it ready to be moved to my mates garage where it will be stored untill he gets pissed off with it

The car is a rolling shell with alot of the bits required to put it back together im unsure at the moment exactly how much is missing, i know for a start it has no arches/skirts, windscreen, front seats, carpet, headlining and drivers door.

The shell is pretty clean and mostly in primer, it has new wings and rear quarters and a clean tailgate off an RS1800.

There is a gearbox and shafts etc in the car with bare bottom end bolted up and the full loom is still in the car fitted with a Clifford alarm.

Couple pics with the Mk2

The EFi head is away at Oddkidd Creations at the moment getting some bits done and put together at the moment.

Totally off topic, but I thought you might interested. It's only taken me a year, with lots of distractions, and it has got to come out again to fit the exhaust manifold Name: 010.jpg

Update

Been a while since i have updated but we have been pretty busy getting it ready for paint.

First of all massive thanks to zetec69 for his help, skills, knowledge, facilitys, tools, ideas etc stunning work bradders

There was a few bits i needed before it could go for paint so we piled in my mates passat and headed out to pick up a drivers door, spoiler, arches and skirts, windscreen and headlights. I thought it would all piss in the passat no worries but the door wasnt having any of it so i had to go all the way back there the next day in my Mk2 Fiesta to collect, it squeezed in.... just!

I also got another front bumper which has already been cut for a GRS cooler and im hoping to get lucky with clearance as i dont currently have a GRS cooler to mock up with lol

The main aim at this point was to get it ready to go for paint so we stripped it further leaving only the essencials underneith so it still rolled.

It turns out with closer inspection that the car has had alot of the hard work done with new wings, quarters, front panel and rear panel and the underside is clean and painted black so i wont be touching that at all yet.

Pics of it in the stripping stages

Then we removed all the mangled studs from the kit and spoiler and restudded them using adhesive and stainless bolts and drilled the arches to accept the kit and trial fitted.

Good update mate, I was literally just about to get on your case to do it!

Much better with all that filler dug out of the bonnet swage line!

Should be a clean weapon when we're done, will look nice in my mirror

Need to get down to some hard work on the pile of parts now it's gone for paint.

Oh yeah, beware....got a text today saying my spoiler is ready to be collected. If he carries on working this fast your car will be done next week lmao

Cheers

Brad
