Hi every 1 ive got a new fiesta 1.6 tdci econetic for comuting to work/run about an just wondering are there any benefits from a remap ov the car to gain power/fuel consumption???? Is it worth it

Don't. I spent years of my life sorting that out, 16 hour days the whole shabang. We spent millions on that engine and it's calibration. An off the shelf remap can't do better.

People say the engine is strangles an cant breath they do that to get the emissions down but will giv u a bit better power/mpg that's why ime on hear asking as the people saying that from work drive round on a 2cylinder diesel dumper from the 80s lol

The engine is designed around low power high economy, not a lot of room to play with. Turbo is tiny, engine is fragile, everything is geared for economy. Least you haven't got the new 1.5 75ps haha.

At the mo ime running a fiesta 1.4 tdci one lol but it's sad to say i luv it
