Everythings possible dude, but I would encourage her not to bother

The CVH is such a crap engine, she's better off with the small block Kent based engine in the KA as standard [except the sportKA with the zetec Se lump].

I would suggest she spends sensible money on a Zetec lump and turbo's that instead, if she needs a turbo, or does the popular throttle body conversion that can get around 200bhp without the fear of melting engines due to turbo's

There's a guy on here from Turkey with a Ka on throttle bodies... can;t remember the name tho

Sportka has a Duratec 8v 1.6 engine.

The Zetec-SE is fitted in the Puma, exclusively afaik.

Easily possible. The guy who did both those web-sites (Sy) has alredy done one and is 90% through doing one for me

Drop him an email. He could do one for you (at a price lol)

Mine is called "the 3k budget blaster" we set out to build the whole thing for under 3k and that includes buying the ka and rs engine! So far the budget is easily in-line

I'd say you're looking at minmum 5k for a zetec-se turbo

there is a guy on a mazda forum that had a turbo ka for sale, good cond, that may be a cheaper option. can find out for you if interested. I think that there is also a cossie powered ka in the ramsgate area.

guy i know through a friend put an RST engine in his ka , he did it all himself with the help of a couple of mates but he himself knew hardly anything about cars so you got to take your hat off to him.
The car looks good too and think has about 150bhp so doesnt go too bad.
At least its something different.
