Default Fiesta 2000 - Radio Installation

Hi Guys,

I have a factory fitted radio in my car currently but it has had it's days.
I have purchase a Pioneer DEH-1320 and A Fascia for the car. The fascia came with a clip which I have worked out by looking at the radio currently in my car that this clip must attach to the unit and that is how it slides into the car and is held in place (to prevent it falling)...

I have attached a picture of the back of the stereo unit and the clip. How the hell do I attach these together.... I have no screws.

All help is appreciated.

the radio should have came with the mounting bolt as the radio is showing the hole the bracket to mount to just right of the wiring plug, most just chuck it away

suggest you contact whoever you bought it from as they are normally with the removal keys in the box or pop into a audio shop as it will cost pence

Aslong as the radio's got a cage it slots in to it wont fall once its pushed in tight, wouldn't worry about the plastic bit!

But the only thing holding it in place would be the plastic fascia?

Put the cage into the fascia, bend the tabs at the top and bottom so it locks into place, then slide radio into cage. Cage is designed to be a tight fit to the radio so wont just fall out its hole as long as you install in properly.

on fiesta's they drop without the plastic support as it has happened to me before and for the sake of a few pence you may as well do it right
