1990 E34 BMW 535i Sport - 1200ono
1990 BMW 535i Sport...
For anyone whoe doesn't know these cars you get the 3.5 litre M30 engine which in these models has 210-217bhp depending on where you look, close ratio 5 Speed box, LSD, sports suspension and M5 Bodykit.
This being my second Sport ive come to the conclusion that between this and an E30, this gives you a hell of alot more. Faster, nicer to drive and once the tails kicked out just as much fun! Bought her in Ocotber (not long i know) and insured her under a Classic policy, fully comp. for 250 quid.
The Car itself is totally standard bar a S/S exhaust, which is loud and raspy but is imho ok on the motorway, shes at her loudest on overrun. The BBS Alloys are all in great condition as are the tyres, the spare looks brand new with the original Dunlop Tyre on it never seeing a road.
Gearbox is fine with no whines and Diff is very tight, Pagid brake pads have been fitted and shes rather keen on the pedal which was a surprise at first, not something you would expect from an older car. However the ABS light is on, I do have an ABS sensor but not fitted it.
Engine has 185k miles and sounds like a swiss watch, previous owner had her serviced before i got her with receipt to prove. I have removed the plugs to check and they look new.
Car drives without fault, and can be a real hoonigan machine yet pootle along like a big old lazy bus when you require it.
Have just put 6 months tax on her and she will be sold with 12 months MOT. Reason for sale is a number of issues. I have a mk2 Escort i want to turn from shopping trolley to Track spec grin machine and cant justify running both. I have entertined the fact of parking the bmw up until summer and was the reason i removed it from ebay last week or so but it keeps niggling away at me so thought id give it one more shot.
Bodywork is Alpine White with a rust scab on the nearside door and a few areas on the offside which would require attention to make her look "mint", has had angel eye conversion fitted. Not the best pictures but its the best i can do on a rainy day outside my house.
I am open to p/x, money either way, for a diesel estate/4x4 as the misses's C3 is giving me nothing but electrical headaches and needs to go and she wont be seen dead in the bmw never mind drive it.
Also have set of 4 18" m parallels which were on the car when i got her. These can be bought seperately for £150
