so last year after a rather long 6 months in afghanistan
i decided to spend my earnings that i had mustered on a

saph cosworth i had a look at a few around were i live befor getting the hump and giving up

on my way back from looking at a rather bad black 1 near were i live my brother found a nice looking one on ebay and we decide to have a look at it on our way dow we done a check through a text check thing all came up ok

went had a look at the car like it payed for it happy days nice car done

then after a bit of time i get a message fron the old owner that had it befor the bloke i got it from so i rang him and after a little chat we got dont to some bad news

he had sold the car as a cat D and all tho the damage was not that bad i have the picks and it cant bee seen on the car now the fucker i had got the car from strangely failed to mention this on the add

so he bought the car like this

Hpi or Experian are the only companies who's data I trust to use.

If you've got an iphone and have the Autotrader app you can do a Experian data check from that for Ł3.99 which goes on your iTunes account. Bargain

 

I'd never use my car text check bollox ... As above HPI or AA I use and faultless

 

roger that also i think a bit of patience would of help

i realy should point out the car is a good one and the damage was only superficial

but just disappointing as will knock the price down if i come to sell it because i will tell people and not try to hide it

 

But the plus side of dings they break for more then they sell

 

always a silver lining i guess i say its still a good car strait and i think he has done a good job of the repair so i will see im not gonna sell it just yet anyway

i dont even know waht a cat d will do to the value realy

It knocks abut off but it's a good fing you got pics of damage to show it can affect insurance some company's i fink

 

cat d is the best one to have as its non structural damage and you have pics to prove so i doubt people will be too put off on re sale although the value of cat d and c are lower as iv been told an insurance company will not pay out full value.
