I've just removed the Spec-R header/expansion tank off my car with no dramas and put a nice clean standard Ford tank back on the car. I connected the large pipe back up on the bottom of the new tank but then realised that whoever fitted the Spec-R tank had cut the 2 smaller hoses which means that they are too short to re-connect (bollocks - just when the job was going so well and nearly completed). Does anybody know the Ford finis numbers for both of the "pre-shaped" smaller hoses - outside diameter about 15-16mm - that connect to the top of the standard tank.

The tank is the same as a standard Focus but i'm not sure if the hoses are so just in case, the car is a 2003 MK1 Focus RS.

Ok, not a huge response lol. Next question then - are the hoses mentioned above the same on a standard Focus as an RS Focus? Also what are they referred to as?

 

Well as nobody got back to me i'll assume that no-one new the numbers so i'm going to educate you all just in case it helps anyone else out in the future .

The short hose is Finis number 1134597 and costs £13.82 + VAT from Ford.
The longer hose is Finis number 1226688 and costs £51.92 + VAT from Ford.

In the end i went for a blue silicone set from CarParts Express for about £40 + £8.50 delivery (bargain).
