Anyone need a new front windscreen trim (outer)? Unlikely you'll need it unless you're changing the screen, but maybe as a spare? Should fit all Sierra (mk1 and 2, saloon, hatch and estate, so RS, XR and non)

Paul - no, it's not.

Rs5oo - it's the outer trim, not a seal. The screen in a Sierra is bonded in, the rubber around the edge of it is just a trim, not an actual seal. But if you mean is it the rubber part you see going round the edge of the glass where it meets the body, then yes, that's the part.

I'm in a bit of a quandary - Rs5oo posted at 22:12 that he'd have it, and I just got a PM from someone else (at 23:21) saying he'd have it, so someone's gonna get it, and someone's gonna get disappointed. Would be interested to get an impartial view on it, maybe from Admin, before committing?

 

usually i would say it goes to the first person who says they will take it.

Thanks for the input Mark. I've kinda gotta agree, Rs5oo was the first person to say they'd have it, and it's really only my fault for not keeping an eye on the thread. The other member said they'd have it by PM at 23:21, but that was after Rs5oo said he'd have it.

So if Rs5oo still wants it, then he can PM to let me know, and I'll give him my PayPal details, and if he doesn't, then I'll offer it to the other member via PM

 

Rs5oo will have to clear his PM's out first though if he does want it! If no reply by tomorrow (10am - 12hrs after the offer), then I'll let the other guy have it, I think that's fair?

that seems fair enough to me mate

 

any decent windscreen fitter that knows fords will have a roll of this in his van ready to be cut to length for your sierra screen, the last bloke that did my sierra screen had a roll of different types and showed me that my previous one was a fiesta one not a sierra one

Actually, they come pre-cut. Sierra's aren't common enough now to warrant carrying a roll of it anymore. Fiesta (mk4) trim fits Sierra's quite nicely too.
