My cousin and uncle have just arrived in cornwall and are looking at a 3 dr as I type this which is his first dip into the ford and cosworth scene, all receipts for last 12 years state grove garage and Ahmed installed products, and ran 472hp at last dyno in may 2012, he just commented he has more receipts on this car then he has ever seen on any car in his life and totals up to 34k on modification parts alone since 2000, has a julian godfrey built 200 block installed nov 2011, and all receipts prior to 2000 are turbosystems, his phone call to me was have you heard of grove garage and ahmed
and I said to him you sure you want a cosworth if you have not heard of them
, bless him as he has just sold his evo and is looking for a new hobby car and finally wants a blue oval which im loving
I told him I think hes safe if thats who has been looking after that car, hope he buys it as another one on the PF club stand

hes just got back from a 30 minute run and has been there 3 hours now, he and his dad are off to have lunch and skip through the 5000 photo build disc the guy has given them to mull through in the local restaraunt and are going back later to either haggle out a price or pop up and tempt you Mat out of your 3dr which was my advice

although he has the reg and vin information he has been asked by the seller to not pass on the info to the public, the car belongs to a private collector of sports cars and is not involved in the club scene at all, seller would not budge a penny on the 22k even though he was offered 20.5k in cash so thats that, they walked away but I have put them in touch with a few other trusted leads.

I know it's got a lot of paperwork, but £22k for a 3dr would have to mean it's one of these absolutely crazy minted show cars surely?? ....a perfect in every way, never be driven for fear of stone chipping the underside or ramping a mega-low mileage up type of car??
Cheers,
Grant
