Default blower motor resistor

please could someone tell be how I find the locationof the blower motor resistor in my ford focus 2003 thanks

Yes it's to the right of the glovebox when you drop it down, you do however need to fix the immediate problem that causes the resistor pack to go, this is normally due to badly fitted pollen filters!

is the melted wiring plug separate from the blower resistor ??

Yes, pollen filter scuttle not sealing is the issue, part number for resistor is 1311115 and is just over 14 quid plus vat, ask for butl tape when you visit your local ford dealer

thanks I have ordered a resistor do I need a pollen filter shuttle too and if so where is this located if you could please tell me

Passenger side bottom of windscreen

, take out glove box to access the resistor,,, that's on passenger side middle of dash

I have answered your PM, but anyway, you squeeze the two sides in, so that the 'stops' which usually prevent it from dropping down clear the dash, this may give you enough room to work, but otherwise it's just a case of unscrewing it/unbolting it from there.
