KA on Carbs
hi all has any1 put a KA on carbs?
i obviously im rebuilding the engine for this rally car, but, i was thinking is the easiest way around this to put an escort/kent engine in as i would then have a dizzy?? looking at the price of these carb kits with management this would appear the cheapest way.
i know the engine looks the same but are the mountin bolts the same??
cheers

I would have thought as long as engine is pre 1992 and you can prove it then shouldn't be a problem as then mot won't require a cat and carbs will be good enough. Not sure about block being same but pretty sure it can be made to fit.
Mot won't be a problem, even I'd I stick with the existing engine I would get rid of the cat for a bit more power. The block looks he same, it can't be a million miles away can it, I think it would run better with a weber on it anyway
