Strong clutch for rs turbo
Hi
i am looking for a new paddle clutch for my rst and found this

the only one im aware off thats ever ever lasted on my car is an alcon 6 paddle and there nla

i found the ap racing 4 padle super dooper clutch lasted 1 year dead at 286bhp and fell to bits when it went

What pressure plate did you run with the alcon 6 paddle, I've got a brand new alcon 6 paddle plate to use with my zt.

i have also been thrue a few off these clutches and os keen on trying a 6 paddle this time

i use to run a 6 paddle but only briefly
i then changed to ap tripple plate
6 paddle worked well for the brief time it was in

sounds good m8 but the 6 paddle looks to be hard to get hold on these days :-(

I use the high torque AP on my ZVH conversions it held upto 340ft/lbs

i got the cover from alcon with the hole kit it was fitted so many yrs ago i cant remember still spot on prob been on there 3 or 4 years roughtly

for power over 350bhp larkspeed said it is a 5 paddle cos there 6 paddle can not handle that sort of power

well if the larkspeed 5 paddle takes more than an alcon six paddle il b a monkeys uncle
plus the 5 paddle has less of a surface area to contact with the flywheel and engagement will not be as smooth
