What differences make it a sport model out of interest?

 

Sport was made too use up all the 88 spec stuff
Interior
Xr3 carb engine
Different bumper
That's it I believe

 

Black spoiler too

 

Wasn't sure if it was ment too have the spoiler or not.. personally think its better with out

 

Cage left in or out I can't decide ?

 

Good to see this car is still around, only 2 i know of on the road...this and mine

Needs a bit of welding now unfortunately.. in need of any 88 spec interior if anyone got anything

 

Gotta say, I prefer with the black spoiler as it differentiates between a Bonus and a Sport.

Also, the engine is the standard 88bhp lean burn as far as I know for the Sport, it just has the interior and spoiler from the pre 90 spec XR3i

 

Thats why I ended up leaving my spoiler on!

Think of friend of mine is breaking a RST and has a 88 spec RST interior.

 

Im after front recaros. Front and rear cards mate

 

As far as i know he has a 88 spec and 90 spec interiors with cards.

welding has started too take place new passenger rear footwell and drivers inner arch.. were was cut out and never re welded !!!.. no have too get the horrible patch work of the drivers rear foot well and now the roof has gone too

il be doing all the shows bud... picking her up from carbondelight tomorrow with my new roof... floors almost done.. 88 recaros are ready too go.. fancy a change of wheels but unsure what too go for... il post more pics soon

 

After seeing it in the flesh ,you need to leave the 3door rims on ,looks perfect on them

Dont know if you have seen them but on eBay at the mo are the rear boot decals for the sport (something i'v been looking for since i got mine).
