Hi all I was just wondering if the boot leaking on mk2 orions is a common fault as I can't work out how the water is getting in, the rubbers are in good nick so it's left me a little confused

Hope somone has some idea's cheers James

 

fold down rear seats lay in the boot with a torch and get someone to turn the hose on if not raining, I had one years back that leaked through rear lights and bootlid did not depress enough to make a good seal on rubber

Back light seals, split or blocked sunroof drain tubes.

Get on the Orion register if you get stuck.

 

also if any signs of rot at lower corners of rear screen gulley. mine had a little lookin rusty bit, wen i got it stripped back it was massive n the water used to run down soaking thru the rust into the boot.

 

Cheers guys ill take a proper look tommorow and see if I can sort the proplem and ill sign up to the Orion register soon as pal gotta pass my test first lol thanks for your help

 

I would go for screen too had one years ago which had a replacement screen which leaked and rotted all the inner arch by fuel cap.
