Default Does Anyone Know This Escos thats for sale?

This caught my eye on pistonheads and sounds like a lovely car, does anyone know it and what its like? seems very fairly priced if its as good as it looks in the pictures.

That is odd and would make it a T/V plate, either very late registered or built up from a shell perhaps? Doesnt mention it in the add mind you but then that would explain why it seems cheap i guess

Not saying there is anything wrong with it, just the fact that its a late year and didnt know if it was a newer escort with cossie engine.

Think this is car I saw at a show, I think my bro needs him. I said how is the reg rite he said it was an old Motorsport shell, soi said how come it has a sun roof as I thought Motorsport shells were non sunroof shells. He said he hadn't trout about it. If it has a log book it's legit, I wouldn't worry about it.

I'd be wary, this car sold to the current owner about 6 weeks ago, had different wheels on it then, may be a genuine sale though. It was owned by Darren Sutherland, who's mates with my neighbour, i don't know him well but it's for sure his car or an identical incarnation on the same V plate.

Now ive seen the full reg of the car i do remember seeing this at an rsoc show about 3 years ago, the rear arches were bubbling at the time which i thought was a shame but thew add says paintwork is mint so guessing these must have been sorted. Nice car, Do i keep the range rover and get something like this or chop the range rover in for a c63 or new m3

You could yes with regards to the plate as its a V plate. Anything V plate or below can go on this.

Seen this car for sale a few times. One of the previous owners back in the day was on escos.com but he sold it. I think he had problems selling it, was a tidy car back then but think it may of had a couple more owners since so not sure of its condition now.

another reason for it stating 1999 is it could have been imported as I once owned a rs1600i which stated it was registered in 1989 but in fact it was made in 1983 and was first registered from the imported country in 1989 on the v5 and yes it was right hand drive too

ebay advert for the escos

No mention of the nice big Ap brakes it had on it before so am guessing they have been taken off.

it was built by a fella called gaz from tamworth and as said had a fair bit of work done by Reyland. I've not seen it in couple of years at least but it was a nice car.
