Redtop XE in2 Sierra
Hi peeps, i know i might get stick off of sum people for this but im going to sling a redtop in2 a sierra soon. I know i will need a bellhousing adaptor and mounts but the rest shouldnt be too much work. I am wondering if anyone on heres done it b 4 so i can get sum information?? The reason im goin redtop is coz iv got 1 sitting in garage with full loom out a cavy,and they are bomb proof. And for those who are about to say 'just look for a cheep cozy' iv Already got a good stage 3 magenta 4x4 saff

if using the original water pipe routing then the 1 above the bell housing will foul the bulkhead, and the distributor, so best to convert to coilpack management and blank the distributor hole, the water pipes are easy enough to relocate etc,
the exhaust manifold will need a fair bit of adapting but if your handy with a welder then its just a bit of time cutting and welding,
either that or just buy 1 for an escort and use that, they are available straight off the shelf,
not sure about sump clearance on a sierra but it needs changed to go in an old escort so you might have to adapt that or use a manta sump and pick up pipe

might be front bowl, i dont know

Hi mate, well.... Lol, the saff i had lined up to buy,the deal fell through! Then i was on the hunt for another,then the misis came in 1 day wiv the 'positive pregnancy test' ! Lol so i fired the Redtop i had in my mk3 astravan which was great fun! Now im currently tryn to sell the van as i have a 'sensible' car now hahaha... Still not ruled it out tho,me n my bro are still planing to build sumthn.
