Catagory b1 drivers license.

I know that it allows me to drive 3 or 4 wheeled vehicles upto 550kg but could I jump onto a Yamaha dt125 & ride it?

Just wondering as it'll be cheaper to run over winter.

Also, I'm 20 & I haven't passed my CBT.

And colder mate - I ride a bike from Sussex into London every day and believe me, there are times when I really would far rather be in a car....cheaper it is, but more comfortable it certainly isn't.

My local commutes only 2 miles away, all main roads so its not a problem for that really. Just cheaper really.

Okay so I'll book my cbt the it's all gravy providing the bikes legal ect?

think you can ride a 50cc or less moped on a drivers licence from what i've been told as someone at my last job did that but worth checking.

apparently you still need a cbt for a moped...
